The only problem with this card is that MTG isnt that keen on cards that cost 5 but dont impact the battlefield immediately
In many cases, this is a worthwhile tradeoff, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Erode replace Path to Exile in many deck lists to add optionality

Every Play Booster pack guarantees at least one foil card, though if you're chasing whatever ultra-rare alternate art treatments Wizards of the Coast has tucked away, your odds will likely still be much better with the considerably more expensive Collector Boosters, which are unfortunately out of stock right now
These are especially useful for baseball cards, video play promos, Magic cards, or even small game accessories
